Refund Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This policy explains when and how refunds are issued for Womea subscriptions and medications. We aim to be fair, prompt, and clear. This is a templated policy provided for illustration and is not a substitute for advice from your own legal counsel.
Our approach
There is no membership fee — you pay for the medication, with shipping and clinician messaging included. We want every charge to be one you understand and expect, and we resolve billing problems quickly and in good faith.
Before you are charged
Submitting an assessment or payment does not guarantee a prescription. A licensed clinician independently decides whether treatment is appropriate. If a prescription is not issued, you are not charged for medication, and any pending authorization is released.
Subscriptions and renewals
Recurring plans are billed automatically at the start of each cycle until you cancel. We show the price, billing frequency, and next charge date before you enroll, and send a reminder before each renewal. Cancelling before your next billing date prevents the upcoming charge.
Medications already shipped
For safety and legal reasons, prescription medications that have already shipped generally cannot be returned or refunded once dispensed. This is standard pharmacy practice and protects every patient.
If your order arrived damaged, was incorrect, or never arrived, contact us and we will replace it or refund it.
Charges in error
If you were billed in error — for example, charged after cancelling, or charged twice — contact us and we will refund the incorrect charge promptly.
How to request a refund
Email care@womea.com or message your care team with your order details and the reason for the request. We review every request individually and in line with applicable law, including any state-specific consumer protections. Womea LLC, 100 Cliff Drive, Sag Harbor, NY 11963.
Processing time
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
