Womea
About Womea

Evidence-based menopause medicine, taken seriously.

Menopause has been under-treated, over-mystified, and crowded with marketing for too long. Womea exists to do the opposite: pair women with US-licensed menopause clinicians and protocols grounded in guideline-concordant hormone therapy and current guidelines — so the decision in front of you is clear, honest, and yours to make.

We follow The Menopause Society and ACOG. We start with what the evidence supports. And we never sell fear.

What we believe

Four principles we don’t compromise

These aren’t taglines. They decide what we prescribe, how we describe it, and what we refuse to claim.

Guideline-concordant first, always

Our protocols are built on a guideline-concordant spine — estradiol and micronized progesterone. We lead with the therapies that decades of evidence and the major guidelines actually support, not the ones with the best marketing.

Transparency over persuasion

We tell you what a therapy can and cannot do, what it costs, and where the evidence is strong or still uncertain. We will never imply that “bioidentical” or compounded means safer, more natural, or better — because it doesn’t.

The whole 20-year journey

Menopause is not a single moment. We care for the full arc — perimenopause through postmenopause — adjusting treatment as symptoms, risks, and goals change across the decades, not just the first hot flash.

No fear, no hype

No scare tactics, no miracle claims, no guaranteed outcomes. Every therapy carries benefits and risks, and we put both in front of you. Decisions are made with a licensed clinician, on the evidence.

Clinical care is provided by Arora Health & Aesthetics, an independent medical group of US-licensed clinicians serving all 50 states. Womea is a technology platform — it does not employ the clinicians or practice medicine. Drs. Shannon and Sean Arora lead the group; your visit may be with any licensed clinician in it. Menopause is diagnosed by symptoms — bloodwork is optional, never a gate to care.

How we practice

The standard of care, delivered online.

Telehealth doesn’t mean a lower bar. It means the same evidence-based decisions, made with a licensed clinician, without the friction of an in-person visit.

Guideline-concordant

Our protocols follow The Menopause Society and ACOG. When the evidence shifts, our protocols shift with it.

Clinician-reviewed, every time

Care starts with a live video or phone visit with a US-licensed clinician trained in menopause and hormone therapy. Menopause is diagnosed by symptoms — blood panels are optional, never a gate.

Licensed in all 50 states

We hold clinical licensure for nationwide care, so women across the country can be seen and treated by a qualified clinician online.

The science we follow

We show our sources.

Every claim we make traces back to The Menopause Society, ACOG, or the primary literature. Hormone therapy carries both benefits and risks, and the right choice depends on each woman’s history — which is exactly why we lay the evidence out in the open rather than asking you to take our word for it.

Note on compounded therapy

Where a compounded option exists — such as Biest (estradiol + estriol) — we say so plainly. Compounded medications, including estriol, are prepared individually by a state-licensed 503A pharmacy rather than mass-manufactured to a standardized, tested product, and we present them as one option among several, not as a shortcut around the evidence or a claim of being safer or more natural.

Care you can actually trust.

Start with the 3-minute assessment. A licensed clinician reviews every plan.
