Medical Disclaimers

Last updated: June 1, 2026

These disclaimers describe important limitations about the information and therapies discussed on this site. This is a templated document provided for illustration and is not a substitute for personalized advice from a licensed clinician.

Not medical advice

Content on this website is provided for general educational purposes and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not create a clinician–patient relationship. Care is delivered only through a licensed clinician who reviews your individual history.

Hormone therapy: benefits and risks

For many healthy women under 60 or within 10 years of menopause, the benefits of hormone therapy outweigh the risks, consistent with The Menopause Society and ACOG. Hormone therapy still carries risks that vary by individual, which is why a clinician reviews your full history before prescribing.

We lead with body-identical estradiol and progesterone. We do not claim that compounded or 'bioidentical' hormones are safer, more natural, or more effective than standard hormone therapy.

Compounded medications

Compounded medications are compounded individually by a state-licensed 503A pharmacy rather than mass-manufactured to a standardized, tested product. Compounding may be appropriate in specific clinical situations, and when a clinician recommends a compounded medication, they will explain why and review the relevant considerations with you.

Compounded hormones

Some options we offer, such as Biest (a compounded combination of estradiol and estriol), are compounded by a licensed pharmacy. Compounded medications, including estriol, are compounded individually by a state-licensed 503A pharmacy rather than mass-manufactured to a standardized, tested product. We lead with body-identical hormone therapy and do not claim compounded hormones are safer, more natural, or more effective.

No guaranteed outcomes

Individual results vary. We do not promise specific outcomes, cures, or timelines. Statements about typical experiences are general and may not reflect your results.

Diagnosis and testing

Menopause is diagnosed based on symptoms and history, not by hormone blood levels. Blood panels are not required to begin care; a clinician may suggest testing only when it adds clinical value.

Emergencies

This site and our services do not provide emergency care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
